normal wear & tear at 3 months? August 24, 2011

My friends love these shoes & when I got them, I loved them, too. Super comfy, cool-looking - they were great (which is why they got 2 stars instead of none). After about 3 months, my feet were killing me - I got blisters on my toes and when I checked the lining, it had worn through. I wear them 2 days a week for work (office mgr in vet office) and sometimes once a week to run errands. Customer service said that 3 months sounded like a manufacturer's defect & to return them. A week later I got a form email and the shoes back - this was considered normal wear & tear. I called, same deal. I can't afford to buy new Alegria shoes every 3 months. I could expect this from Walmart, but not from Alegria. I'm a very disappointed customer & unfortunately won't be purchasing anymore shoes from them due to this.

These are so much fun! I pair them with all sorts of outfits...and the comfort is unbeatable! I walked over 7 miles in them last week at one time and didn't get the slightest ache. Usually after shopping for an hr. in other shoes my back & feet start to really hurt, but not so with these!

I just received these shoes in and they are wonderful!  After ordering the wrong size on all 3 pairs that I purchased, the correct size arrived.  These are my second pair of Alegria that I have purchased which now do not come off of my feet.  I am not a nurse but do a lot of walking for my job and life.  Thanks Alegria for making such a great shoe!  This particular pattern now goes with my browns and blacks!
