I am a nursing student and wear these to my hospital clinicals. I wanted a pair of these because a friend of mine who has worked in medical for 15+ years said Alegria was the best shoe she had ever worn for work. For our school, we have to wear closed-back shoes. I tried the Donna and also the Debra, but they both slipped up and down on my feet. I do have narrow feet, but not narrow enough to buy Dansko's in the narrow size. My foot is narrow everywhere (in front and in back). This shoe is perfect for me because the strap holds them in place. The footbed of these shoes is like a Temper Pedic (spell?) mattress for your feet--so comfortable! I am very happy with my purchase!
