Velcro looses its hold power too soon after purcha

I have the black shoes which I love. The reason that I am giving it an one star rating is for the Velcro. After wearing the shoe daily for work the Velcro hold starts to wear out. When taking only a few steps the Velcro lets go and you have to reach down and re-fasten. The Velcro hold area needs to be re-engineered.

Straps don't hold

I purchased these shoes and within 5 times of wearing them, the velcro on the straps no longer hold. Since I have already worn them, they cannot be returned so I am out $120. When I do wear them, every 10 steps or so, I need to bend down and refasten the shoe to keep it on. Very disappointed. I buy 10-12 pairs of Alegria shoes a year for myself, my mother, and my daughter-in-law. This is one shoe I would not recommend.
