Designed specifically for the health care worker, the Donna has all the same features as the Classic with added features that include a stain-resistant upper and a no-slip bottom. The Donna has a combination latex and cork footbed that is designed to form to the foot. If necessary, the footbed is removable to allow space for custom orthotics, and the interior has extra depth to create a roomy fit. The outsole is engineered to reduce heel and central metatarsal pressure, and the bottom is flat to increase stability. These are my first pair of Alegria.  I have about 30 pairs of Dansko.  These top them in comfort.  I bought wides which excellently accomidate my EEE width foot.  My school district frowns on teachers EVER sitting when kids are in the room.  I can run in these shoes from daylight to dark better than tennis shoes.  
NOTE on the pattern- I worried about the shoes being too busy.  I have worn them at least one day per week since the purchase and get a compliment on them each and every time!  They are beatiful and worth every penny.  I got them for Valentines.  Now my hubby's love is with me always.  (Instead of real flowers that would have been dead in a week!)
