I bought these to wear on our vacation which we will be flying and doing alot of walking. Being my 3rd pair of Alegria I knew they were going to be comfortable. After wearing around the house I wore them to the mall. After walking more distance though, it was really a struggle to keep them on. The wide part of the strap located under the snaps, is very thin, soft and flimsy. With each step, the wide part would fold in and upward between toes giving way to having them held on securely. The picture looks like the strap is wide and a strong leather strap, but it is not. I tried the adjustable snaps to the tighter snap which didn't help. I normally wear an 8med and these fit fine from front to back. Maybe, these would fit if you have a really thick foot it might not need a heavier strap to keep them on. Even though a bit bulky, they are very lightweight and a gorgeous mustard yellow. I love my others but this pair I couldn't walk in. Customer Service was excellent.

I bought the red crinkle at the beginning of summer and have worn and walked in them on trips and have no problem with the piece that goes between your toe. I get compliments and everyone wants to know where I bought them and I refer them to your site. I have 5 pairs of clogs and just ordered the Porto sandal on sale in the mustard color. I paid full price for the red crinkle and love love love them.
