Alegria's signature footbed is designed to accommodate a range of foot widths. Here's what to know:
- Standard fit: Most Alegria styles are built on a medium (M/B) width last. The roomy toe box makes them comfortable for slightly wider feet as well.
- Swappable footbed styles: The Keli, Classic Clog, and Paloma feature a removable footbed that can be swapped out to accommodate both medium and wide widths, giving you a more customized fit.
- Adjustable fit styles: Styles with hook-and-loop (Velcro) or buckle straps — such as the Henna and Paloma — offer a customizable fit across the instep and are especially well-suited for wide or narrow feet.
- Slip-on styles: Styles like the Keli (elastic gores) and Classic Clog have a fixed opening. If you have a high instep or very wide foot, consider sizing up half a size.
- Narrow feet: If you have a narrow foot, look for styles with adjustable straps to dial in the fit. Slip-ons may feel loose without adjustment.
How to Measure Your Foot
- Place a piece of paper on a hard floor and stand on it with your full weight.
- Trace the outline of your foot with a pencil held straight up.
- Measure the longest distance from heel to toe in inches or centimeters.
