2016 Carina Sandal Change | Fit Alert The 2016-2017 Alegria Carina, and ONLY the Carina, has had a design change! But don't worry... The mind-blowing comfort you've come to expect from Alegria shoes is still built right into the Carina sandal footbed. The polyurethane outsoles engineered to provide a natural rocker walking motion is still right there. The structured outsoles that promote perfect posture which reduces stress on muscles and joints are all accounted for, The superior arch support is right where it should be! So what has changed? The Alegria design team felt that the adjustable strap that folds across the instep of the sandal was just too long. Listening to feedback from scores of loyal customers sent the team back to the drawing board to make a few changes, the result being: The adjustable strap is now shorter so the incredible colors, patterns, and bling of the sandal stay in perfect harmony. The shorter strap means a little less adjustability across the instep. The sandal will have a roomier fit and will accommodate wide feet better than before. If you have a narrow foot, you will not be able to adjust the sandal to create a tighter fit. These changes ONLY effect the 2016 version of the Alegria Carina flip flop sandal. Have a narrow foot? Not to worry! We love our customers and want to make sure you have all the information you need when selecting a pair of Alegria shoes. In fact, the Carina sandal may still be the sandal for you!
