Not Holding Up. November 20, 2017
Reviewer: Angela from springfield, OR United States
I wear a size 9 and ordered a size 40  based on the chart. I will say initially they broke in very quickly - wore them for a 10-hour shift right out of the box. They were comfortable until about 6 hours in when I noticed they put a lot of pressure on my little toe, but it was manageable and has improved as the leather has "broken in" (which they did fairly quickly as its only day 3 of owning them). My main complaint is that they are always starting to look worn! I noticed today (day 2) that the toe tips looked a little lighter and upon close inspection I could see that some of the black embossed design was wearing away and the leather lightening.
I'd be willing to give their shoes another shot in the future, but I think I'd avoid the leather ones.

Size DOWN a size. (I am a 9.5, which according to the sizing chart puts me in a size 41. It was way too loose. A size 40 proved to be the best fit).
Initially finding my correct size was frustrating and time consuming- it took about a month and a half to return the shoes, get store credit, and then get a different size. (They don't do exchanges, per se).
That being said, once I found my correct size, they were great. I wore them right away for an ENTIRE  12 hr shift- they were comfortable and I had no lower back pain at all. For leather shoes, I found not needing a "break in" period pretty impressive.

The shoe is well made, and seems like it is good quality as well.
Unfortunately,  I am a size 9.5. This shoe comes in 9, OR 9.5/10. Being as I am a 9.5, a shoe that will also fit a size 10 is too loose on me. I ordered it hoping it would fit,  and am now in the process of returning it.

I wear an 8.5 in my shoes. I went up half size. These shoes are excellent on my feet. My co-workers love the design andI get complements. I'm Birkenstock shoe person. I want to try something different. My feet are singing " Awesome, I love you Shoes".  A+ HAPPY FEET.

great fit out of the box May 17, 2017
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Bozeman, MT United States
I was worried these would be too tight since I have a high instep (my foot is thick in the middle, not high arches) and the "buckles" are more decorative than functional for adjustments. I went with a 39W, I usually wear a size 8 in Chacos, Birks, or Keens and they are a tad long but its not like I'm going hiking in them so the little extra slop in length is no big deal. They were great right out of the box as far as comfort.  Yes, the heels are a little stiff, but again the little extra length means they don't rub for my feet. My only concern is that the soles have a slight undercut to them and I tend to shift my weight to the sides of my feet just for variation and fidgeting and have rolled my ankle in these shoes since I am not accustomed to compensating/moderating for the undercut.
